North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cary Academy over Franklin Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) and the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), observed Cary Academy's volleyball team top Franklin Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Woods Charter beat Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 18. Franklin Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over South Granville (Creedmoor, NC).
