In Friday's non-league match, the Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

The Rangers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Killeen for a non-league bout on Friday, August 15. Rudder will clash with a Kangaroos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 1-3.
