Texas High School Volleyball - Clemens Goliad

Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Calallen was beaten by Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 16. Clemens will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX).
