Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mira Costa lost by Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Oilers face the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 15. Huntington Beach will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Trailblazers go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over 'Iolani (Honolulu, HI).
