The Coronado Mustangs were victorious over the visiting San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene for a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. Coronado will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to XDOT Academy (Merkel, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Plainview (Plainview, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Plainview lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Seminole (Seminole, TX)
