The Indians (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Rusk was defeated by Huntington (Huntington, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Black Cats now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Ferris for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. Mexia will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
