The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks volleyball squad (Sour Lake, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX)

The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Deweyville was knocked off by Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks battle the Kountze Lions (Kountze, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 15. Hardin-Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
