Texas High School Volleyball - Lancaster tips Irving

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) and the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), observed Lancaster's volleyball team hold off Irving by a tally of 2-1.

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Skeeters go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Mesquite was edged by Gunter (Gunter, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Irving will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.
