California High School Volleyball - JSerra Catholic can't hold off Redondo Union

In Friday's non-league bout, the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) volleyball team held off the visiting JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Sea Hawks now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Canyon for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. Redondo Union will clash with a Trailblazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hawaii Baptist Academy (Honolulu, HI). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Lions battle the Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 16. JSerra Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bobcat enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA).
