Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Marfa Shorthorns (Marfa, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Forsan was beaten by San Angelo HomeSchool (San Angelo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Shorthorns face the McCamey Badgers (McCamey, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Marfa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX).
