In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Martin Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Porter Cowboys.

With the win, Martin improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Macedonian Christian (Alamo, TX) to face the in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The go into the test with a record of 0-1. Macedonian Christian lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX)
