In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Stevens Falcons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the McCallum Knights.

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Huskies enter the 6A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Holmes was edged by Highlands (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivera for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. McCallum will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Trinity (Euless, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
