Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), observed McKinney's volleyball team notch a victory over Seguin by a score of 2-0.

With the win, McKinney improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Summer Creek (Houston, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Summer Creek lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX)

The Matadors now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa Colony for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. Seguin will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-1.
