Texas High School Volleyball - Melissa can't hold off Tatum

The Tatum Eagles tipped the host Melissa Cardinals volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 19. Tatum will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).

With the loss, Melissa drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Johnson (Buda, TX) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 2-0. Johnson won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Wimberley (Wimberley, TX)
