Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX) and the visiting Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), observed Southwest Legacy's volleyball team top Miller by a tally of 2-0.

The Titans (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals enter the 5A Region IV District 28 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Southside was defeated by Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Buccaneers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sinton for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Miller will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
