The Royse City Bulldogs volleyball squad (Royse City, TX), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX)

With the win, Northwest improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Texans travel to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Stony Point won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Hays (Buda, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Royse City will battle a Apaches team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 4-0.
