Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host South Garland Titans (Garland, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Wilson was beaten by Plano East (Plano, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Titans now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emerson for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. South Garland will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-1.
