The Apex Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Northwood Chargers to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Broughton for a non-league game on Thursday, August 18.
The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Wakefield gained a win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
