The Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) volleyball overcame the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Monroe Central betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Bears travel to Delta (Muncie, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 8. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-0.

The Indians now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northeastern for a outing on Thursday, August 18. Union City will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hauser (Hope, IN). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
