Washington Warriors (Washington, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dale Pirates (Dale, OK), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norman for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 18. Washington will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Lawton (Lawton, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Dale falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Porter (Porter, OK) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 19. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
