The Mountain View Bears softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Duluth Wildcats to 9 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mountain View advances its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Apalachee won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 17. Duluth will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 13-1 league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA).
