Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA) and the visiting Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), witnessed Parkview's softball squad tip Peachtree Ridge by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grayson for a 7A Region 4 match on Thursday, August 18. Parkview will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Peachtree Ridge moves to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, August 18. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-3. Collins Hill lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against West Forsyth (Cumming, GA)
