The Shallowater Mustangs prevailed the host Friona Chieftans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a non-league test on Friday, August 19. Shallowater will confront a Buckaroos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tolar (Tolar, TX). The Buckaroos record now stands at 7-1.

The Chieftans (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Talkington School for Young Women Leaders (Lubbock, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Talkington School for Young Women Leaders dropped by Plains (Plains, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
