The Commodores (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Center Hill lost by Hernando (Hernando, MS), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Wave encounter the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 18. Tupelo will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over New Albany (New Albany, MS).
