The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) and the host Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX), saw Lubbock's volleyball team get by Wichita Falls by a score of 3-2.

The Westerners now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crane for a non-league test on Friday, August 19. Lubbock will confront a Cranes team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Trinity (Midland, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 4-5.

The Coyotes (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Boyd held off Bowie (Bowie, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
