The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting South Garner Titans (Garner, NC), saw Wakefield's soccer squad beat South Garner by a margin of 8-4.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Smithfield-Selma for a non-league test on Monday, August 21. Wakefield will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Triton (Erwin, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, South Garner drops to 0-1 on the season. The Titans host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-0.
