The Foard Tigers volleyball team (Newton, NC), went down 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC)

The Huskies (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Draughn defeated Patton (Morganton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 17. Foard will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
