Colorado High School Softball - Cherry Creek can't get by Castle View

August 16, 2023: Greenwood Village, CO 80111

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) softball team held off the host Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, Castle View moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Sabercats host Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 22. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 1-0.

In their next game, the Bruins play the Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Cherry Creek will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Lobos come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO).
