Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest Georgia STEM Charter for a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Thursday, August 17.

With the loss, Dougherty falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crisp County (Cordele, GA) to battle the Cougars in a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Crisp County lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA)
