Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Alexander for a 6A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, August 17. Paulding County will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, South Cobb falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Westlake lost 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA)
