Alaska High School Football - Eagle River prevails Houston

August 16, 2024: Big Lake, AK 99652

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Eagle River Wolves football squad scored a good 42-14 triumph over the Houston Hawks.

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their match against West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Wolf Pack come into the Railbelt match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, West Valley defeated Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK), 40-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Hawks meet the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a Mid Alaska match, on Friday, August 23. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 52-6 league loss to Redington (Wasilla, AK).
