The Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) football tipped the host Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 34-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host McIntosh for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30.

With the defeat, Mountain View drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Friday, August 23. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Lanier lost 31-10 in their recent non-league outing against Norcross (Norcross, GA)
