Georgia High School Football - Pepperell can't hold off Pickens

August 16, 2024: Jasper, GA 30143

Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 31-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Pickens improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to play the Phoenix in a non-league battle on Friday, August 23. The Phoenix go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Sonoraville lost 21-14 in their recent non-league battle against Model (Rome, GA)

The Dragons now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Adairsville for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. Pepperell will play a Tigers team coming off a 28-27 non-league win over Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
