Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) and the host Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA), saw Coronado's soccer squad prevail over Truckee by a count of 4-0.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Spanish Springs tipped Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 16. Truckee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
