The South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host East Burke for a non-league bout on Monday, August 19. South Caldwell will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Newton-Conover moves to 0-1 on the season. The Red devils host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 20. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-0.
