The Blanchard Lions softball squad (Blanchard, OK), 7-5 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Perry Maroons (Perry, OK)

With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Maroons host Tuttle (Tuttle, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 17. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Tuttle won 11-2 in their recent non-league contest against Marlow (Marlow, OK)

The Lions now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host McLoud for a 4A District 4 contest on Monday, August 19. Blanchard will face a Redskins squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 4-0.
