Georgia High School Softball - Kell gets by Cherokee

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) and the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), observed Kell's softball team get by Cherokee by a tally of 3-2.
The Longhorns (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Pickens tipped East Hall (Gainesville, GA), 12-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 16. Cherokee will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA).
