The East Coweta Indians triumphed over the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. East Coweta will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 8-1 league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA).

The Yellow Jackets (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Tattnall Square Academy edged Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA), 25-10, in a non-league challenge.
