Georgia High School Softball - Emanuel County Institute can't get by Lowndes

The Lowndes Vikings edged the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 5-3 league win over Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Tift County edged Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
