In Friday's league match, the host Oilton Panthers softball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Woodland Cougars.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Coyle (Coyle, OK). The Bluejackets go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Coyle was routed by Shidler (Shidler, OK), 14-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Glencoe Panthers (Glencoe, OK) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 19. Woodland will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 2-3 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Agra (Agra, OK).
