Texas High School Volleyball - Huntsville Lamar

Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lamar improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 16. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-0. V.R. Eaton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX)

The Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin for a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. Huntsville will face a Raptors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Raptors record now stands at 2-3.
