Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), observed London's volleyball team top MacArthur by a count of 2-0.

The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Sinton notched a victory over Bastrop (Bastrop, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Brahmas battle the Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 17. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).
