Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) and the visiting Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), observed Lassen's volleyball team hold off Gridley by a count of 2-1.

The Grizzlies (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers go into the battle with a 1-0 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16.
