In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Buckeye Valley Barons soccer team scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Galion Tigers.
With the triumph, Buckeye Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Highland (Marengo, OH) to clash with the Fighting Scots in a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. The Fighting Scots go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Highland won 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 21. Galion will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
