The Golden Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Madison Southern tipped Lincoln County (Stanford, KY), 7-2, in a non-league match.

The Maroons now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rockcastle County for a District 47 match on Monday, August 18. Pulaski County will meet a Rockets team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Berea (Berea, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 0-2.
