Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) fans were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

The Colonels now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Henderson County will play a Maroons squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Ohio County moves to 0-2 on the year. The Eagles host McLean County (Calhoun, KY) to play the Cougars in a District 10 bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. McLean County won 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against Union County (Morganfield, KY)
