In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Mount Notre Dame soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 win over the Lakota East Thunderhawks.
The (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mason (Mason, OH). The Comets enter the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Mason by St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Thunderhawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springboro for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Lakota East will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
