In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting McCracken County Mustangs soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Warren Spartans.

With the triumph, McCracken County advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-0.

The Spartans now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. South Warren will clash with a Marshals team coming off a 8-0 league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 2-0.
