Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) fans exited the stadium happy Saturday as they observed their softball team get by the host Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO), 8-6 in a non-league match.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their match against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Bruins battle the Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 21. Cherry Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
