Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Defenders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
